She was a loving & caring mother & supported Abraham in his mission particularly during Presidency.
Regarding her erratic
behavior, is it not understandable ? She had to face death of mother at an age of
seven. There was broken engagement with Abraham. It was not easy to bear
loss of three sons. Then loss of relatives in the civil war. And the biggest
blow by death of Abraham.
